Devil's Nice Cream

I know this isn't the prettiest recipe ever, but it has SO. MUCH. CHOCOLATE. If you are a chocolate lover but you also want some healthier options for the new year, this is for you. It isn't quite as creamy as normal ice cream, but has amazing flavor and is still really yummy.
The inspiration for this flavor was originally devil's food cake, and it was just going to be a super rich chocolate flavored "nice" cream. Nice cream is basically just frozen bananas that are blended to be similar to the consistency of ice cream, but much healthier. I decided to give the flavor a little twist and make it taste like Mexican hot chocolate, hence the spices. That way the "devil" part of the title has two meanings, it's spicy AND chocolate-y.

Nice Cream Recipe
Serves 4
Ingredients:
- 3 frozen bananas
- 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 2 tbsp dark cocoa powder
- 6 tbsp almond milk
- 2 tbsp chocolate chunks
Steps:
1. Line a loaf pan with plastic wrap.
2. Add all ingredients except chocolate chunks to a food processor or blender and pulse until smooth and creamy.
3. Fold in the chocolate chunks.
4. Pour the mixture into the pan.
5. Scoop and serve right away or freeze for about an hour before serving, depending on how frozen it is.
